Our Story
At White Knight Investment Group, we target investment opportunities that focus on value creation for our investor/partners. Our core strategy concentrates on identifying and acquiring opportunistic acquisitions of under-performing or under-capitalized investment properties with value add components. Our overall investment objective is capital preservation, attractive cash distributions and forced appreciation. Our goal is to unlock the value of these commercial assets through a combination of in depth underwriting, sound financing strategies, calculated renovations and aggressive management.
Our Managing Principal
Thomas Mattingly is an accomplished real estate investor, developer, and general contractor with more than 40 years of experience across multiple asset classes. Throughout his career, he has completed more than 60 real estate transactions, including multifamily communities, self-storage facilities, single-family homes, farms, and land development projects. As the owner of a successful construction company for nearly five decades, Thomas has built a reputation for delivering quality projects through disciplined project management, attention to detail, and operational excellence. His expertise in construction, budgeting, and value creation provides a unique advantage when evaluating and improving real estate investments. Due to his reputation and long-standing client relationships, his construction business has operated primarily on referrals for more than 30 years. Today, Thomas combines his extensive construction background with decades of real estate investing experience to identify opportunities, optimize asset performance, and create long-term value for investors. His practical approach, conservative decision-making, and focus on capital preservation help provide investors with stable cash flow and long term wealth creation. Thomas and his wife, Kay, have been married for more than 38 years and are the proud parents of Taylor Rose and Evan.
